Paula Ngu is a Sydney-based artist with a Master of Fine Arts (Research) and a Master of Art (Coursework) from UNSW Art & Design, and a Bachelor of Business in Information Processing and Accounting from Curtin University.
Ngu has exhibited in both solo and group shows, with her work held in private collections nationally.
For over 27 years, Ngu worked as a computer analyst-programmer, designing and maintaining digital data systems. She also has an art practice that has evolved over time, exploring the mapping of personal data into art experiences as a means to extend the perception of data in our 21st century world. Through an iterative and experimental testing process, Ngu creates works ranging from 2D paper-based and screen-based projects to 3D works in virtual reality.
